Amber’s paintings explore the underlying meaning of our collective experiences through raw fascination with capturing a single moment of thought. Her works weave together the poetic nature of an idea, layering strong visuals to translate multidimensional concepts. A bit like a riddle, the meaning of each work is left up to the viewer. Her art is influenced by the boldness of graffiti and graphic design, the purpose and meaning of the Dada movement, and a love of the simplicity of form.
Her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows, corporate and private collections, and commissioned murals in Washington, DC, Atlanta, and NYC. With an eye on building arts opportunities for both fellow artists and children in underserved communities, Amber was a member of the Urban Artists Coalition while in Washington, DC, and now promotes collaborative arts gatherings in Atlanta, GA.
